Hybrid duo The Cheers  have been around for a little while, first making themselves known by doing MBC Music’s MM Choice together with Na Yoon Kwon and MC Sniper in the beginning of June. However it was not until today, October 8th that the two made their official debut with the release of digital single 야 (YA).  The male half of the act, Robbin, participated in the MBC College Musician Festival in 2008 with his former band Did you know a fact that Robbin is a rabbit? but has since changed his song writing style towards standard pop/rock with a punk feeling mixed with synth pop.

The song The Cheers were part in covering for MM Choice was Park Yong Ha‘s “처음 그 날처럼” from the soundtrack of 2003 drama All In (올인). Here is the official video
