During spring this year Jambinai recorded a song for independent short film The Music of Jo Hyeja–a Korean adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft‘s The Music of Erich Zann –where Jambinai’s haegum player Kim Bomi can also be heard playing in other parts of the score. It will have its world premiere at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival to be held in Los Angeles this weekend, September 28th-29th, with director Jihyun Park in attendance.
The screenwriter for the film is Korea based science fiction author Gord Sellar. He’s been blogging about the project starting from the months of planning, to the actual filming in October last year all the way through to post-production:
