Singer-songwriter RossyPP, short for Rossy Punky Perfume, released mini album 29 on June 12th. The title hints at the many changes in life that comes when the numbers 29 changes to 30, 29 coincidentally being RossyPP’s current Korean age.
Compared to her first album, Aloha Oe from last year, the arrangements this time around are simpler with just an acoustic guitar and a cello — Shinchireem‘s Cho Jung Chi and solo cellist Eterno Ji Song played the instruments in question.
With four tracks total the mini album introduces three new songs and also presents a special version of “29”. “29 (5월5시)” was recorded on May 5th with the door to the studio open, all sounds from the neighborhood recorded alongside the guitar playing on the studio porch.
A music video should be on the way as some scenes were filmed last week.
