While informing of this weekend’s reggae soundsystem festival, Mark Russell shared his suspicion that I&I Djangdan has broken up: Hippies, Reggae and the Countryside.
The dub reggae act self-released its first full length album, Guidance, on June 3. There’s a trailer at Vimeo, and several full length samples streaming on MySpace if you want to get an idea of what it sounds like. I have yet to hear all of it myself, but was very impressed with 2008 debut EP Culture Tree and expect nothing less from the album.
