While technically not ROK music, I have been known to take an interest in music from north of the border as well. As such I was very happy to find that today fellow MAP bloggers at The Guardian launched a series to look into the North Korean music scene: Pyongyang goes pop: Inside North Korea’s music scene.

Nothing much just yet, but I’m really looking forward to see what they will make of it. For now I’ll just keep listening to Radio Pyongyang – a most interesting album for which you can find a review at London Korean Links.
