Female singer/songwriter Jiyo released her first mini album on January 22. She debuted with digital single 開花(개화) in 2007 and has released two digital singles more since – 요즘 from 2008 now being featured as a hidden track, and 2009 single track 갈림길 now being the main track – complete with a music video – on her self-titled CD debut.

While Jiyo keeps it to the pop ballady side, fellow singer/songwriter Sejung also adds elements of soul and jazz while playing the piano. Sejung’s first single, I Say You, was released on January 27 and can be sampled in full from her Cyworld club.
