Metal trio Funeral of August had their first EP, Shattered Truth, released on January 12. Although marketing themselves as melodic death metal, save for the vocal style I’m reminded of the magnificent, somewhat romantic/gothic, style of Japanese bands such as Versailles which makes me think FoA could do fairly well in Europe.
