mrkwang asked me about my thoughts on Skasucks today. January 21 they released their second EP, New Generation of SKA, on I Wanna Riot – Dope‘s new sub-label. Skapunk is not entirely my type of music, but I find Skasucks interesting enough – especially during the Mexico influenced instrumentals (El Mariach and The ship going down) they have up on MySpace. Four songs from the new seven/eight track EP (the first press edition contains a bonus demo track) and a couple of songs more can be sampled in full from there.
