I have waited long for the emergence of a proper synth act on Korea’s music scene and with a little luck, I might’ve finally found one. On September 27, Synth Boys began selling their first release, a 3 track CD-R called Underground Pop 1 (Hyang). No samples or anything anywhere as far as I can tell, but the album info says something about “80s”.
I think it says that the sound is like 80’s synthpop sound. I might be wrong, but still – a korean synth act, yay! :P
That’s what I thought, and that’s also what I’m hoping for :) I sent a wishlist to mrkwang this morning and included Synth Boys, so before long we should know what this really is ^^
