Indieful ROK’s 7th Anniversary

Last spring I decided to leave koreanindie.com to start blogging on Indieful ROK again. The site never became what I wanted it to be and eventually I realized that it was better for me to move on. I’m very excited to be back, even though the Indieful ROK readership in 2014 was even lower than it was in Indieful ROK’s early years.

Yesterday, January 10th, marked the 7th anniversary of Indieful ROK. A lot has changed since the blog launched in 2008, but I always remain grateful for everything it has given me throughout the years. All the friends I’ve made both online and offline, all the experiences. And of course all the fantastic music I might otherwise have never heard.

There’s still so much I want to write about, so many ideas to make into text. My free time is limited, but I hope to be able to at least get to some of it before it’s time for the next anniversary post. Changing blog platform from Blogger to WordPress has made it possible to add features like the IROK events calendar and hopefully there’ll be more of the kind coming up.

With that said, thank you so much for all of your support! Whether you’re an old or new reader, Facebook fan or Twitter follower, thank you! This wouldn’t be nearly as much fun without you.
