First EP from Zitten as One-man Band

On the 16th of December, modern rock act Zitten released an EP called 백야. The six-track EP has been produced by Sentimental Scenery, with five new titles and a piano version of the title track included. The KOXX guitarist Sooryun was a session player for songs March and Moonlight.

백야 is the first release from Zitten since the duo turned into the solo act of vocalist Yong-Wook, as announced on November 17th, although former member Ro participated for the album release show held last Saturday. However, it will not be the first time for Yong-Wook to carry the name alone, as Zitten spent their first couple of years on Pastel Music with Ro doing the military service. At the time Yong-Wook stressed that Ro was a very important member of the band, but even so many still perceived Zitten as a one-man band after Ro came back.

EP title track “백야” has gotten a music video with clips from 2010 movie Rabbit Hole, directed by John Cameron Mitchell and starring Nicole Kidman. The movie opens in Korea on December 22nd.
