If I had been in Korea this Saturday evening, you would most definitely have found me at Sangsang Madang checking out what in many aspects may be the world’s most awesome rock band, Apollo 18, as they take on the stage supported by members from Indieful ROK favorites such as Donawhale, Bomb&Tree, and 13Steps. If you’re in Seoul, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be there tonight.
Although hardly comparable to the real deal, one comforting detail for all the unlucky souls far away from all the action is that this most likely fantastic evening will be recorded for a live DVD to be released later this year. More details over at Korea Gig Guide: “With a Little Help from My Friends”.
If there’s a live dvd of this, I’m going to be one of the first to buy it
hi but I do not really follow this blog but i would like to know if you are based in Korea or just blogging about music there?
wow, they made it to sangsang madang? congrats :’D
@Indie Arto Sorry about the late reply! I’m based in Sweden, just blogging about Korean music.
I have not told you. I went there and it was awesome. Soooooo much better than the GReenplugged’s performance. They actually thought the performance in Greenplugged was not good but I like it though. But when I saw this performance I know why they said so. I should thank you a lot for introducing me to Apollo 18’s music. They are awesome!
