Artists worldwide sing for PEACE

PEACE, the music atlas project by Buffetlibre & Amnesty International
Last year I was approached by Barcelona based DJs Buffetlibre as they were looking for some Korean names that could be of interest in a new project of theirs for Amnesty International. While I am sometimes skeptical of Amnesty International, they do seem to act on the best of intentions and usually perform a commendable job, so I suggested some of the biggest indie names I could think of.

The name of this project is PEACE, and on Mars 1 it will finally launched. After that anyone donating more than €2 for NGO Amnesty International through the PEACE website supports Amnesty in their fight for human rights while also getting a good 100+ new songs from 50+ countries all over the world.

Today I got the press release and was extremely happy to find that in place of all the big names they had asked for was one of my very favorite Korean electropop acts: EE! Check out the rest of the line-up in this video. Did you like that song playing in the video? If so you can download it here!

And although they’re not Korean, since it’s so much fun to be able to offer authorized downloads here’s another couple of exclusive, downloadable tracks to give you a taste of what’s to come:
Marissa Nadler: I Love My Man
The Antlers: Two (Buffetlibre remix)
Visit the PEACE site to stream another bunch of songs from the project – there among new titles from Javiera Mena and Asobi Seksu.
