On June 20th musicians collective friendz.net offered a new video through their YouTUbe channel. This time the video showed J Rabbit covering a couple of Twin Folio songs together with special guest Song Chang Sik. The former Twin Folio member played guitar on “하얀손수건” — the Korean version of Nana Mouskouri‘s “Με τ’ άσπρο μου μαντήλι” — and in addition to continuing to play the guitar also joined in with a bit of singing on “웨딩케익” — the Korean version of Connie Francis‘ “The Wedding Cake”.
Recognized as the first recording folk act in Korea, Twin Folio started out in the late 60’s. Here are two TV performances from 1988 of the songs now covered by J Rabbit:
