Indie Afternoon starts today!

As mentioned previously tbs eFM has a Korean indie music program hosted by Ray Kang called Indie Afternoon starting today, March 20. It’s a weekly show aired on Sundays from 2-4pm and in addition to playing songs from listener requests there’ll be interviews, a chance to get to know some more about old Korean indie music, and a segment called the Indieful ROK Spot, where myself and Widhi will take turns introducing a band. For this very first episode I decide to introduce my very favorite band, Apollo 18 and it should be on around 3pm – Korean time (GMT+9), of course.

If you’re in Seoul just tuning in to 101.3MHz at the right time should do. Otherwise click the “On Air” button while visiting the tbs eFM site and it should start streaming.

thank you for introducing this program. been tuning in for a bit now and i think i will gain a lot from this. maybe you could give more info on the site though. idk if it’s just me but internet explorer opens the online radio part, but you have the option to download their online radio as well. still trying to find a play list though. maybe you could help in that direction?

I think they’ll update the playlist after the show, and hopefully the Indie Afernoon tbs eFM page will get some more material then too. I’ll be writing more about the show here later.

Unfortunately I have no idea how to download the show – I didn’t know tbs eFM offered that option, but I’ll look into it. Thanks!

I’m sorry I think I caused some confusion. The online radio is available to download to listen to their radio programs without having to access their page to listen online. I don’t believe that you can download the show. Here’s a screen snip of the radio I mention, it’s called Toy:
