As has become common in recent years, also the 2015 edition of SXSW Music will be featuring a set of Korean bands. The first round of artist announcements came on October 22nd and includes The Barbarettes, Big Phony, Eastern Sidekick, EE, No Brain and su:m. Additionally it was reported after MU:CON that Asian Chairshot too has been handpicked for the festival by a SXSW director.

The second round of artist announcements followed on November 18th. In addition to Asian Chairshot it lists Heo, Victim Mentality and Yoon Band.

Now let’s hope visa applications and all else that need to be in place so we don’t need to see any cancellations this year.
