Thanks to Janet and her video updates in the shoutbox here at Indieful ROK, I learned that Cherry Filter has recorded a song called 미세스타운 for the tvN drama with the same name, Mrs. Town (미세스타운). The original version was released on a digital single on November 18, and the ballad version has been out as a digital single since January 12.
Another band in the same vein, Island City, had a song called 별이 빛나는 날 released on the soundtrack for KBS drama God of Study (공부의 신) on January 14. Two weeks later, January 28, the second part of that soundtrack was released upon which yet another similar sounding band – the energizing Swimmin’ Fish – was featured with a song called Fly.
