Peterpan Complex Return with Synth Pop Sound for New Album

Long gone is the Radiohead flavored Peterpan Complex from ten years ago when the band returns with their fifth full-length album, O[óu], on March 8th. In an unusual promotion scheme the band holds no less than 10 album release concerts–1 every day since March 1st, each with different guest artists.

It’s been four years since Peterpan Complex’s fourth full-length album leaving time for the band to transform their sound into 80’s inspired synth pop. “자꾸만 눈이 마주쳐” and “어제” from last year’s Showmust Omnibus, introducing their new label, are both included on the new album with “자꾸만 눈이 마주쳐” also available in a version remixed by The KillerCutz

The album teaser shows the transformation the band’s sound has gone through:

“자꾸만 눈이 마주쳐” was released as a digital single in September 2011, accompanied by a music video:

A music video for “감정을 삼키고” can be expected some time in the near future. For now here’s a video of the song being performed in a studio like setting a few months ago:

A couple of weeks ago Shomust shared a video where Peterpan Complex vocalist Jeon Jihan can be found playing his guitar. At the 1:08 mark in this video he gets started with “어제”:
