Language practice: Yellow Monsters & Guckkasten

Every now and then my feed reader offers me something interesting in languages (besides Korean) that I don’t really understand all that well.

옐로우 몬스터즈 (Yellow Monsters) 1집
Chopstick Yeti offers an introduction to new super group Yellow Monsters: Yellow Monsters. The catchy rock trio gathers GumX guitarist Yong Won, My Aunt Mary bassist Han Jin Young, and Delispice/Omega 3 drummer Choi Jae Hyuk, and all participate with vocals.

The first Yellow Monsters album was released on July 22 and offers 10 tracks, including S.M.C featuring Yohan of PIA. Check out the music video for title track Late on YouTube.

Guckkasten
Guckkasten recently wrote a bit about themselves for 10Asia, including why they re-recorded their first album. sarangingayo has it translated to Portugese: ♥ [ENTREVISTA] A banda guckkasten fala das mudanças na carreira. But if you prefer, it’s also available in English: [INTERVIEW] Indie band guckkasten. The piece mentions recording a music video for a song planned for their second album – makes me hope it’ll be out before long.

Daybreak
Daybreak too have done the same thing with 10Asia as Guckkasten.
– In Portugese: [ENTREVISTA] A banda daybreak fala de projetos
– In English: [INTERVIEW] Indie band daybreak
