A couple of reviews and artist overviews

Taru (타루) - R.A.I.N.B.O.W클라우드 쿠쿠랜드 1집 - Cloud Cuckoo Land
More reviews from wakesidevision! Following the review of The Melody‘s self-titled album comes a review of the first solo release from The Melody vocalist Taru: Taru (타루) – R.A.I.N.B.O.W. Review.

And for a slightly different side of Pastel Music, there’s also a review of the first full length album from Cloud Cuckoo Land: Cloud Cuckoo Land – Self-Titled Review.

And while on the subject of R.A.I.N.B.O.W, as you may recall it was produced by shibuya style electronica guy Sentimental Scenery and reflects the style of his music rather than that of Taru herself. To learn a bit more about this mysterious guy I’d suggest a visit to make-shift cartology: artist overview: Sentimental Scenery [센티멘탈 시너리].

And for more electronica stuff, albeit a bit softer, from Pastel Music, Janet is also providing an introduction to Epitone Project: artist overview: Epitone Project [에피톤 프로젝트].

I think that can be good thing, actually :) And please don’t take that Sentimental Scenery comment as criticism of you! To be honest I haven’t even opened her solo album yet. I just heard that before anyone heard of R.A.I.N.B.O.W, the music Taru made for herself sounded a bit more like the sweetest (non-electronic) songs from The Melody.
