Mad Fret are back – no longer visual?

Dare I still call Mad Fret the best female visual kei band of Korea? They debuted on Queen Teenage Visual (or even Queen Seven Visual? along with Guyz and a bunch of other fairly good bands nonetheless) back in 2000. Then I heard nothing for several years, but so a friend of mine reported that he had spotted a bunch of Korean girls in vk outfits on stage at Formoz Festival in 2007. And it turned out they had even released a self titled EP. At least one of those songs will also be included on Mad Fret’s first full length album, Smash The Lie, released on November 26. Their music shouldn’t be much different: hardcore/psychedelic/nu-metal claims the album info, though the band seem to have gotten rid of the visual clothing.
