In Hyang Music’s Korean indie section I came across the name Jin Sung Yoon. Apparently he released his first album, New Folk, on August 8 and the only person to rate the album so far has given it five stars. He seems to be some kind of key person for Mamasay Music Academy and, if I got the information in Korean right, he was once a member of X-Sample. Actually, it seems like the track Hey, Mama Say on New Folk might even be a remake of the same song from X-Sample’s 2004 EP I Can Control.
