Don’t know how I could’ve missed this when going through the advance releases at Oi yesterday, but I did: Shin Hae Chul will release a 4CD best of compilation called Remembrance on July 10. Looking at the tracklist, there are fifty songs in total, including one previously unreleased song, “Playboy의 최후”. It’s pretty much his 2002 Struggling compilation with some songs from the fifth N.EX.T album and a bunch of songs digged up for the N.EX.T ReGame? remake album. So there’s primarily N.EX.T and Shin Hae Chul solo, but also some Monocrom, Wittgenstein, Muhangwedo and – and this was quite the surprise to me considering there was nothing on either Struggling or ReGame? from this time – No Dance!

There’s nothing on which versions of the songs will be featured on those CDs, but two titles in particular are making me curious:
안녕 – will it be the Shin Hae Chul version or the one from last year performed by Peterpan Complex featuring Shin Hae Chul?
눈동자 – will it be the Uhm Jung Hwa version off the 바람부는 날이면 압구정동에 가야한다 OST or the one off ReGame? with N.EX.T featuring Chae Yeon?
